Exclusions

Moving Heavy or Large Furniture

We define light furniture as items weighing approximately 5–10kg, such as chairs, small tables, or potted plants. Heavy furniture, such as sofas, beds, bookshelves, and large tables, cannot be moved by our cleaners due to the risk of injury or damage to floors. Clients are welcome to move heavy items themselves before our team arrives.

Cleaning Hard-to-Reach Surfaces

Reachable surfaces are those that can be accessed safely without specialised equipment. We can use a small 2-3 step ladder (if requested at the time of booking) to clean higher areas. However, tasks like cleaning high ceilings, ceiling lights, or tall windows are outside our scope, even with a step ladder.

Grout Cleaning

We are unable to perform heavy-duty grout cleaning for floors or walls. Shower grout can be cleaned as part of regular bathroom cleaning, but for deep grout cleaning, specialised machinery is recommended.

Ceiling Cleaning

Our team does not wash or wipe down ceilings. However, we can use extendable dusting tools to remove cobwebs and dust from high areas

Ceiling Light Fixtures and Fans

While we can dust ceiling fans and light fixtures using extendable poles, we are unable to wipe down or disassemble these items due to height and safety concerns.

Oven Disassembly

We offer professional oven cleaning but cannot disassemble ovens to clean between glass panels. Please contact us for details about our oven cleaning service.

Balcony and Balustrades

We clean balcony floors and accessible glass balustrades. However, for safety reasons, our cleaners cannot use step ladders on balconies or clean areas that require one. External surfaces of glass balustrades are excluded.

Rubbish Removal

We can empty indoor bins and replace liners. For clients with hourly bookings, we can also assist with taking household bins to the kerb. However, we do not remove rubbish from properties.

Handling Human or Animal Waste

While we excel at bathroom and toilet cleaning, we are unable to clean human or animal waste found in other parts of the home, including pet litter trays.

Stained Silicone

Mould stains in silicone often penetrate deeply and cannot be removed through standard cleaning. We recommend replacing silicone for a permanent solution.

Adhesive Removal

We do not remove adhesives, such as stickers, blue tack, or command hooks, to avoid damaging surfaces.

Use of Ladders

Our cleaners can use a 2-3 step ladder when requested at the time of booking. Larger ladders are not covered by our insurance and therefore cannot be used.

Ironing, Laundry, and Oven Cleaning

We offer these services as optional extras. Not all cleaners specialise in these tasks, so please book them through our "Extras" section to ensure the right team is assigned. For hourly bookings, let us know your priorities ahead of time.

Paint Removal

Our services do not include removing paint from floors, windows, or other surfaces.

Air Conditioning Filters

Cleaning air conditioning filters is not included. We recommend hiring a professional service for this task.

Fly Screens

Due to the fragile nature of fly screens, we do not remove or clean them.

Curtains

Our team does not clean curtain fabrics or upholstery.

High-Pressure Cleaning

We do not provide high-pressure cleaning services as our equipment is not designed for such tasks.

Concrete Stains

Stains on concrete surfaces are not within our scope of cleaning.

Garages, Workshops, and Sheds

We do not clean garages, workshops, sheds, or similar outbuildings.

External Property Areas

Our services are limited to the interior of properties. Outdoor cleaning is excluded, except for balconies and porches.

Gardens and Landscaping

We do not offer gardening, landscaping, or yard maintenance services.

Pools

We do not provide pool cleaning or maintenance services.

BBQs

BBQ cleaning is not offered, as it requires specialised equipment and cleaning agents.

Pest Control

We recommend engaging professional pest control services before booking a cleaning service if pests are an issue.
